Tender Management

Sterlings have been engaged, by various Government Departments in New South Wales and Queensland, to take on the role of tender probity auditor and to peruse the process of tendering for major public interest projects and more complicated asset transfer ventures. This has involved review and control of the tendering process from expressions of interest through to contract signature and included preparation of reports to minister level.

Sterlings have provided tender probity advice and management on projects including construction up to $400 million, land transfer deals and provision of specialized professional health services and processes.

The tender probity role for Government involves a detailed knowledge of the tender process from the viewpoint of government, development and contractor to ensure that all stakeholders are dealt with in a fair and equitable manner.

Sterlings involvement in the private sector has been through tender management for private developers in design and construction of industrial projects in Tasmania, in provision of advice and management of multi storey residential development in Newcastle, Sydney and Port Stephens, management of club construction and in providing assistance to various developers and contractors during the tender process and construction.
